It's easy for me to go shopping. I look into the shop if i spot black . allot of black than rest a sure i'll go in browse and see...Black magic
Last week i was out for lunch with two lovely good friends. And guess? yes I ware black, all black, but you know, black has all kind of tones and small nuances in it, so in my eyes it was very "colorful black".
My way of dressing is very simple, I mean, the clothing are simply sophisticated in design, which sometimes, is not that simple to produce.Simplicity, leaves room for creativity in dressing. what i mean to say is... accessories, my friend, yes. They are the "colors" for me, or if you wish , they are my "painting brush".
That's why i love plain simple look, to adorn with accessories.
I've kept simple on my arms. Nothing but only my wristwatch, earrings, scarf for the top. My belt was black with silver buckle. My shoes were flip flops by Marc Jacobs. But ended with S$6.99 beetle slippers . why? it rained cats and dogs when we were out after shopping with my friend before she goes back to Geneva. Walking with my flip flop means bye bye to them forever in Singapore heavy monsoon rain even if your umbrella has the size of a pagoda roof top. No way. I want them shining . So i got sleepers and carried the good one in a bag.
But my great finding was, the zipped necklace you see in the Photos paired with my two tones scarf. When i saw it, it took me five second to know that i fall in love instantly. In five second it striped from the mannequin, finding her way to my neck, meeting my Chanel 5. they were happy together. me too.
I think it's great together with the scarf. The only thing is the belt was too much now... but the scarf was long enough to cover the buckle. I was happy. it's so so me.
What do you think? Man in black Now i need my Black Coffee if you don't mined. Don't go anywhere listen to this song in black and white.
"Black is real sensation, even if it is produced by entire absence of light. The sensation of black is distinctly different from the lack of all sensations."---Hermann Von Helmholtz
"Without black, no color has any depth. But if you mix black with everything, suddenly there's shadow - no, not just shadow, but fullness. You've got to be willing to mix black into your palette if you want to create something that's real."---Amy Grant
