Israel Film Festival 2010 Now in Singapore ---- פסטיבל הסרטים הישראלי בסינגפור

To all my Singaporean readers, i have ggreat news for you. The 18th Israel film festival is here once again. Yes...from 26 August - 05 September 2010 at the Picturhouse, At The Cathay. I have watched most of them back than in the 70's and still watch them when in Israel TV play them sometime in special occasions like Independence days, or festive's...They films brought to Singapore won international awards. They become part of   Israeli classical films.

A must see and not to be missed are "The Policeman" Cast: the 3 giants  Shaike ophir (RIP), Zaharira Harifai' Avner Hizkiyahu. Comedy. The film was nominated for an Oscar in 1972 for best foreign languge film and won the globe for best foreign film.

"The Troupe" is a must see. Musical comedy (Hit the link to listen to one of the songs from the movie). Cast : my favorite singer Gidi Gov.
If you can watch all of them. It's the best of the best.

 Bonus the song "Natati La Khayay" (in Hebrew It's "I Gave Her My Life")sang by Band i loved, very much when i was in the army...They where our "Beatles". :)
