עוגת מיץ תפוזים היא העוגה הראשונה שלמדתי לאפות. בכל יום ששי אחרי הלימודים.  תפקידי היה להכין את העוגה לאפיה. את החלבונים להקציף לקצף יציב Google images ,מקצף ידני זוכרים? מן קפיץ עם ידית עץ?  אמא לא הרשתה להפסיק הקצפה באמצע ועודדה אותי תוך כדי.... והסבירה כמובן שזה קשור לגובה העוגה... אבל כאבה לי היד ומדי פעם גנבתי איזה הפסקה או שתיים כשלא שמה לב. אח"כ הכל עורבב בקערה. והקצף קופל לתוך התערובת...

קניידאלך ענניים בנוסח עדות מעורבות. ;).. הנה לכם הגירסה שאני מכינה בכל שנה.. הכופתאות קלות וענניות. מומלץ לפלפל בהרבה פלפל שחור. הן טעימות גם כתוספת עם רוטב נתן אף להקפיאן. מצרכים לכמות אחת-מומלץ להכפיל. כוס מידה 200 מ"ל 1 כוס קמח מצה חצי כוס מרק עוף מוכן, או להכין מאבקה ואז יש להתחשב בתיבול שלא יהיה מלוח. אפשר להכין גם רק ממים, אך מרק העוף או ציר מרק ירקות מאד מוסיף. 2 כפיות אבקת מרק עוף.

 Farmer Market in Israel is great place to savor home cooked food.. The lady shown here is of Druze  people living in northern Israel. she is having a stall in farmers market that usually open on Thursday to Friday. It takes years of practicing and the skills are handed down from mother to daughter. It amazed me every time i see her doing the thin paper-like  dough. It's tin, soft and a elastic.

I was lucky this year to be here in Tel Aviv and be in the best place Friday morning... on the top of Azrieli roof top and watch my daughter's team for the 24h Gillette Challenge organized by SHVOONG. אז זהו השנה החדשה כבר פה מאמש והיא נראית די מבטיחה. מבחינתי היא החלה ברגל ימין בהרבה מובנים וזה אומר רבות על העתיד לבוא בשנה החדשה. הארוחה הייתה טעימה ומהנה. האורחים לא הפסיקו להשמיע קולות הנאה (חסר להם שלא ,עבדתי וטרחתי יומיים במטבח, שלא לדבר על הקניות וההכנות) מכל ביס. הם כבר מאומנים ויודעים שצריך לחכות לפוזת צילום של המנות.  ראש השנה הוא חג מלא צבע טעמים וריחות שמיוחדים אך ורק לראש השנה.
